Storz & Bickel Small Screen Set – six replacement screens in 15 mm format
This Screen Set contains six small stainless steel screens with an approximately 15 mm diameter – divided into four upper screens with a coarse mesh and two lower screens with a standard mesh. This gives you two mesh sizes to choose from, so you can select whichever screen best suits your material at the time.
Coarse or standard – you decide for each session
Both screen types can be used according to your preference. The deciding factor is the structure of what you fill in: The finer your material is ground, the finer the screen should be, so that no small particles are drawn through and inhaled. With coarser material, the wider mesh is sufficient – and the draw remains correspondingly easier. This flexibility is the real advantage of the set.
Four plus two – there is a reason for the split
The set contains four coarse upper screens and two standard lower screens – this is how Storz & Bickel identifies the two positions. So you do not simply get six identical parts, but replacements for both screen types, allowing you to replace them as needed without having to open another set right away.
Small format, wide range of uses
At approximately 15 mm, these screens are significantly smaller than the screens for the large filling chambers. The manufacturer lists them as suitable for all devices; for Volcano Hybrid, Volcano Classic and Plenty, the dosing capsule adapter is required, which itself measures approximately Ø 15 mm. Before purchasing, briefly check which format your device needs – 15 mm and 30 mm are not interchangeable.
Stainless steel withstands cleaning
The screens are made of stainless steel. This makes them durable and resistant to thorough cleaning – you can brush them out or soak them without damaging the material. Instead of discarding them after a short time, clean them and use them again.
Our practical tip
Always keep a clean screen ready, so you never have to interrupt a session simply because the one in use has become clogged. A good indication that it is time to change the screen: as soon as the draw noticeably becomes more difficult. And if you grind your material particularly finely, use the finer screen from the outset – this helps prevent residue in the vapor path.
Our impression
We find the small Screen Set practical for anyone who regularly changes their screens and wants to remain flexible. Six stainless steel screens in 15 mm format, divided into four coarse and two standard screens – a supply that covers both grind sizes.
