Storz & Bickel USB-C Supercharger - 45-W Fast Charger with Four Plugs

With the USB-C Supercharger, you can charge your VENTY or MIGHTY+ especially quickly - according to Storz & Bickel, both devices reach around 80 percent battery charge in about 40 minutes. The 45-watt power adapter comes with four interchangeable plugs, making the MIGHTY+ and VENTY usable almost anywhere in the world without needing an additional travel adapter.

Four Plugs for Four Outlet Types

The set includes attachments for Europe, North America, the United Kingdom and Australia. You replace the plug directly on the power adapter instead of attaching an adapter in front of it - this makes the setup more compact and ensures a more secure fit in the outlet. If you travel frequently, this saves you from reaching for a universal adapter.

VENTY: 80 Percent in 40 Minutes

The Supercharger fully demonstrates its strength with the VENTY: the battery reaches 80 percent charge in around 40 minutes. This lets you bridge a break and be ready to use it again instead of waiting a long time for a full charge. The MIGHTY+ also charges at 45 W (15 V / 3 A) at a similarly fast rate.

Important: Mains Operation Only with the MIGHTY+

A closer look is worthwhile here because the two devices behave differently:

• MIGHTY+: charges quickly and supports so-called pass-through charging with the Supercharger (15 V / 3 A): the battery is bypassed, and the display shows “dct”.
• VENTY: also charges quickly, but mains operation is not supported - Storz & Bickel advertises the pass-through function exclusively for the MIGHTY+.

So if you specifically want to operate the device from the mains, this is only possible with the MIGHTY+. We are deliberately pointing this out to avoid creating any false expectations.

Note on the CRAFTY+

Although the CRAFTY+ also has a USB-C port, Storz & Bickel lists the Supercharger only for the MIGHTY+ and VENTY. No fast-charging function is specified for the CRAFTY+, and according to the manufacturer, it does not support pass-through functionality - it cannot be used while charging.

Fast Charging Thanks to 45 Watts

The 45 watts of power are the reason for the short charging times: a weaker power adapter cannot charge the battery as quickly; the MIGHTY+ specifically requires 15 V at 3 A for the Supercharge function. Charging takes place via USB-C - the plug can be inserted either way, so you do not need to pay attention to its orientation.

Our Practical Tip

When traveling, take only the plugs you actually need - leave the others at home to save space. And if you use your MIGHTY+ in a stationary setup for extended periods, feel free to leave it connected to the Supercharger: in pass-through mode, the battery is bypassed rather than constantly being discharged and recharged.

We find the USB-C Supercharger especially useful for frequent travelers and impatient users. 45 watts for around 80 percent in about 40 minutes, four plug types for worldwide use, and, with the MIGHTY+, additional pass-through operation from the mains.
