PAX Four High Mouthpiece Onyx - raised design in a 2-pack
These raised mouthpieces in Onyx are replacement mouthpieces for the PAX Four. They are fitted on top of the device instead of the flat mouthpiece - both designs are included with the PAX Four from the factory, so this pack provides replacements and a spare. Their design supports optimized airflow and makes full use of the PAX 4's airflow potential. Two pieces are included.
Raised instead of flush - the difference
The flat mouthpiece sits flush with the housing, while the raised design protrudes slightly. What may sound like a minor detail becomes especially noticeable during longer sessions: Your lips find a more natural resting point instead of resting flat on the housing. Those who take frequent, long draws generally find this design more comfortable.
Get more out of the airflow
The design is not just about comfort: It supports airflow and therefore makes better use of your device's available airflow potential. The draw is correspondingly freer - a factor that is already a key focus with the PAX Four.
The lip sensor continues to work
Important for operation: The raised mouthpiece is an original PAX replacement part for the PAX 4 and simply replaces the original. Operation via the single button, the four heating modes, and automatic shutoff remain unchanged. You therefore lose none of the device's functions when switching from the flat to the raised mouthpiece.
Changed in seconds
Replacement is extremely simple: pull off the old mouthpiece and press on the new one. You will need to do this regularly - for cleaning as well as when there are visible signs of wear. Since no tools are required, you can also do it in between sessions without taking extra time.
Two pieces, so no session has to wait
The 2-pack is designed with this in mind: While one mouthpiece soaks in cleaning alcohol, you use the other. This means no session has to wait for cleaning - and you always have a clean piece ready to hand instead of having to choose between a used mouthpiece and waiting.
Our practical tip
Establish a regular replacement routine, such as changing it whenever you clean the oven anyway - this keeps either mouthpiece from reaching a state that would really require scrubbing. Let the soaked piece dry completely after its alcohol bath before putting it back on.
Our impression
We find the raised mouthpieces to be the more comfortable choice, especially for longer sessions. A more natural resting point for the lips, better use of the airflow, unchanged device functions - and, thanks to the 2-pack, one always clean and ready as a spare.
