PAX Water Pipe Adapter – water-cooled vapor for Flow and Four

The PAX Water Pipe Adapter connects your Vaporizer to glass water pipes. It replaces the conventional bowl and creates an airtight seal with the glass – for especially smooth, water-cooled vapor. Suitable for connections with 14 mm and 18 mm ground joints, and therefore compatible with most common glass pieces.

It replaces the bowl, not the mouthpiece

The principle differs from simple slip-on adapters: The adapter takes the place of the classic bowl in your water pipe. Your Vaporizer sits on top with the mouthpiece facing forward, while the adapter sits in the ground joint below. The vapor therefore takes the same path through the water as smoke normally does – except that nothing is burned here; it is vaporized electrically.

Airtight where it needs to be

The key to this type of connection is airtightness: If outside air gets in at any point, the entire effect is lost. The adapter seals airtight against both the glass and the device and withstands the negative pressure created when drawing. The Flow's already open air path also makes longer draws through the glass effortless.

Suitable for 14 mm and 18 mm

The adapter covers the two most common ground-joint sizes: 14 mm and 18 mm. This makes it compatible with most widely used glass pieces without requiring another reducer. If in doubt, measure briefly – the ground-joint size is the only specification that really has to match.

The 225 °C preset is made exactly for this

The PAX Flow has a special feature: the Bong Mode at 225 °C – the highest of the five heating levels – is specifically designed for the water pipe adapter, according to PAX. It maintains the higher oven temperature for up to 5 minutes while disabling lip detection. What would otherwise become harsh at this temperature is softened by water filtration, which cools and smooths every draw.

For Flow, Four, and Era

This adapter is intended for the PAX Flow, the PAX Four, and the PAX Era. You can therefore continue using it even if you switch between these devices.

Important: do not confuse it with the older adapter version

PAX offers two different water pipe adapters. The older version for PAX Plus and PAX Mini does not fit the Flow – and conversely, this adapter is not intended for Plus and Mini. When buying, make sure to check which devices are listed, as the two look similar on the outside.

Our practical tip

Use relatively little water – a small amount is sufficient for cooling and reduces the risk of water coming through when drawing. Insert the adapter into the ground joint with light pressure and a short twist; it will then sit firmly on its own. Let everything cool completely before removing the device again.
