XMax Starry 4 Ceramic Filter – the Internal Insert Individually

This ceramic filter is the internal insert in the mouthpiece of the XMax Starry 4. It is inserted into the silicone filter and replaces a dirty or worn element – for a clean air path and flavor-neutral vapor.

Our recommendation: keep two to three on hand

We recommend always keeping two to three ceramic filters in stock. The reason is simple: a cleaned filter must dry before it can go back into the mouthpiece. With spares, you can simply rotate them and never have to wait – and if a filter is actually worn out, your device will not be left unusable.

Only the Ceramic Insert

Here you receive the ceramic filter only. The silicone holder is not included – you continue using the existing one. This is the right choice if your silicone is still elastic and only the ceramic insert needs to be replaced. If both parts need to be replaced, the complete filter element is the suitable choice.

Why Ceramic Is Used Here

Ceramic is flavor-neutral and does not impart any unwanted taste to the vapor, even at high temperatures. At the same time, it withstands heat permanently and can be cleaned thoroughly. For a component positioned directly in the vapor path, this is exactly the right combination.

When to Replace It

As soon as residue can no longer be removed, even after cleaning, or the filter is visibly worn. In most cases, you will notice it earlier from the draw resistance: if drawing becomes noticeably more difficult, it is time to replace the filter.

Clean the filters alternately and together – this way, you always have a dry one ready to use. When inserting it, check that the ceramic insert sits securely in the silicone; otherwise, extra air will be drawn in. After an alcohol bath, allow it to dry completely before putting it back into the mouthpiece.
