XMax Ace Mesh Screen Set – two screens, two O-rings, one easy fix

The replacement part set for the XMax Ace contains two stainless steel screens and two silicone O-rings. Both parts can be easily replaced when worn or when heavier residue has built up, keeping the airflow clean and reliably holding back particles.

The screen and O-ring work together

That is why the set includes two of each: The stainless steel screen holds back particles, while the silicone O-ring seals the connection and ensures that the air actually flows through the screen instead of past it. If the ring gives way, additional air is drawn in – then even a fresh screen will not help much. Replacing both parts together is therefore the sensible approach.

Wear that is noticed only late

A clogged screen does not announce itself with a defect, but gradually through increased draw resistance. Because this builds up over several weeks, you get used to it – and only notice after replacing it how easy the draw used to be.
